Sampson Edward Ball married Miss Elizabeth Warren in October, 1800 in Liberty County, Georgia. Elizabeth Warren’s parents were John Warren, born 18 December 1752, in Prince Frederick Winyaw Parish, Craven County, South Carolina, and Elizabeth Perkins born 15 April 1757.John Warren served his country during the time of the Revolutionary War in the state of North Carolina. Recored in Pierce’s Register as a private, North Carolina Revolutionary Army Accounts, page 22 and 184, vol. II, Book AA, page 144, folio Page 2, Pierce’s Register #90363, page 175. He served under Colonel Abraham Shepard, dates of enlistment was 22 May 1781 to April 28, 1782 and received bounty land in Georgia for his services. John Warren and his family removed to Liberty County, Georgia, before the end of the Revolutionary War and served in Georgia also. He was a Captain in Colonel John Thomas Company, 6th Georgia Regiment.The Children of John Warren and Elizabeth Perkins were: Jesse Warren, John Warren, Samuel Warren, Elizabeth Warren, Elias Warren, James Warren, Ann Warren, Daniel Ress Warren, Martha Warren.
