ELLANORA BALL: William Baker, William F., Edward, Bartholomew; William, Sr. Ellanora Ball, last child of Doctor William Baker Ball and wife Sarah Veronica Everett, was born in 1850 in Carroll County, Mississippi. She was four years old when her father died in 1854. She really never knew her father. Nothing is known of Ellanora’s life and times, but it seems evident that her mother provided for her and gave her the best that she could, just as she did all of her children. Ellanora never remarried while any of them were still living at home, if indeed she ever remarried, devoting all of her time and energies to her children.
It is not known when Ellanora and her mother went to Arkansas, or with whom. Veronica and Few and their families went, as did several of the Everett family. Ellanora Ball married Curran Everett, possibly a cousin, 7 August 1881 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Nothing further is known of her.1
